MATHEMATICS

The content and assessment approach for primary mathematics has been designed to meet students’ needs in the following ways:

  • * Achievement tests are clear and straightforward – our achievement tests are clear and accessible for all students of all ability ranges and learning styles.
  • * Problem solving skills are broadly developed – the skills developed will be assessed through questions in written examinations, which develops their problem-solving skills by translating problems in mathematical or non-mathematical contexts. Areas of studies are as follows: Number - number and place value, Number - addition and subtraction, Number - multiplication and division, Number - multiplication and division, Measurement and Geometry.
